How do you see technology shaping humanity’s future?

If you’re like me, you view the future with a proactive mindset and likely agree that the best is ahead.

However, it is becoming clear why some people I speak with just aren’t getting it.

When a new technology or idea is proposed, people sometimes react based on fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD). This is common in the markets and especially around crypto.

But, it is important to be aware of the fear that is promoted around new technology in general.

People that want POWER do not always want you to use new technology.

So you have to let go of the fear and realize that they are just people. Those in power that want to monopolize new technology are just as capable as you.

This powerful discussion is a perfect example of how to be proactive and overcome FUD.

When it comes to Bitcoin (BTC), there has been considerable effort to distract and discourage the masses from using the fullness of its technology.

Yet, here we are today, and the Bitcoin on-chain economy is like an organism waking up from its slumber that cannot be stopped.

We are leaving the slave-debt layer and moving into the equity layer, which is on-chain where everybody in the world can now participate frictionless in this new Bitcoin economy by creating things.

You can focus on creating the future you want to see within an environment where only that which is truly valuable is rewarded.

Or you can stay stagnant in the attention economy that aims to constantly program your subconscious mind into fear.The future of blockchain is an imagination economy where our creativity is our horizon.

Rafael LaVerde

Rafael LaVerde has a background in private equity and venture capital. He discovered Bitcoin in 2012 while volunteering on Ron Paul's presidential campaign. He served as board member of a Libertarian Super PAC while doing post-graduate work in economics, and was also a member of the University of Texas’ Mises Circle. His formal education includes graduate degrees in continental philosophy and psychology. He has been a Bitcoin miner since 2014. Rafael also managed investor relations for the BitAngels Network, which helped finance the vast majority of early Bitcoin startups, and was also part of the DApps Fund team that revolutionized funding structures that eventually became known as ICOs and STOs. He was also the founding partner of what became one of the very first Bitcoin venture capital funds.
