How have the fictional writings of Ayn Rand become so relevant in the world today?
Many would consider that the Bible has proven to forecast much of the same warnings of a dystopian future as Rand had depicted in her novellas. How is all this possible?
In today’s interview, I explored this phenomena with an internationally recognized proponent of Rand’s work, Jennifer Grossman (CEO of The Atlas Society).
She shares, “The Society is a philosophy organization… an education organization.” Specifically, they promote open Objectivism: the philosophy of reason, achievement, individualism, and freedom.
After having served in The White House, State Department, Media, Senior VP of Dole Food Company, graduating Harvard with honors, and even surviving an experience with Jeffrey Epstein, there is no better candidate than Grossman to propel the work of Ayn Rand.
In the world renowned novel Atlas Shrugged, character John Galt created a technology with a similar potential as Bitcoin. But, due to the coercive threat of the collectivist society surrounding Galt, his Rearden Metal technology struggled to reach its potential to benefit that society.
The same threat could be directed towards Bitcoin. In this interview, we discuss the philosophical mind shifts necessary to ensure that Bitcoin does not endure the same fate.

To further Jennifer and The Atlas Society’s advocacy of blockchain tech, she offers, “I invite you and your community to come to our Gala in October in the Malibu Hills.”
This is an event featuring a panel of speakers, including mainstream Bitcoin investor Michael Saylor, who got involved in crypto after the BTC hard forks in 2017.
I added, “BSV (one of 2 major hard forks of BTC) is very Randian in their approach to the market and Saylor sits alongside Zuckerberg and Dorsey in a lawsuit against BSV.”
The same coercive threat of collectivism towards the true potential of Bitcoin is playing out in real time. Until we can agree on the best practices and protocols, the future of Bitcoin remains to be seen.
It is possible that this discussion and the philosophical components of Objectivism are what is needed to guide the development of this technology before it is too far gone.
