The Big Crypto Debate Over Monero and Bitcoin [VIDEO]

When Dr. Daniel Kim said, “Monero is what Bitcoin noobs think they bought,” he was speaking about “fungible, digital, sound money.”

I am thrilled to begin publishing all of the incredible bonus content we recently filmed in Miami at MoneroTopia and Guns N’ Bitcoin.

I recorded interviews for The Crypto Vigilante (SUBSCRIBE) with every speaker at each of those events.

Before we get to all that, let me cover the unexpected highlight of the Shitcoin Conference, which featured a heated debate between myself and Tone Vays on Bitcoin (BTC) vs. Monero (XMR).

Tone’s initial arguments took us into Bitcoin’s Theory vs. Practice problem right off the bat.

One of my favorite YouTubers, Monero Matteo, did an excellent analysis video breaking down the entire face-off, where he describes me as The Underdog vs. The Bitcoin Cult.

There was no moderator, and Tone Vays and I had to duke it out for the only microphone, so we went back and forth on everything from store-of-value maximalism and supply auditability to marketing, freedom, and tyranny.

Anyone who understands the basics of blockchain and crypto should know that Bitcoin is not private or fungible. Monero, however, is private and fungible. Therefore, Vays, a former Wall Street bro, began taking major Ls when he attempted to explain Bitcoin’s privacy and fungibility.

When Tone Vays ran out of logical fallacies and failed arguments, he finally resorted to making a case for political solutions.

Of course, with my background in philosophy and my passion for research, I enjoy a good intellectual spar. I don’t think this guy had any clue what he was walking into when he stepped on stage with me.

As Monero Matteo concludes, I triumphed in the debate, not only because I have better reasoning but because the truth is that, in every way measurable, XMR is everything BTC desires to be.
