Don’t Stop Networking!

What’up Vigilantes!

“Tragedy, he perceived, belonged to the ancient time, to a time when there were still privacy, love, and friendship, and when the members of a family stood by one another without needing to know the reason.”

This quote from George Orwell’s 1984, in which isolation is a very important theme: From the beginning of the story, we understand that the powerful government, called “The Party”, isolates every single person of Oceania. They do it, because it is easy to dominate, to control and to manipulate the society if the citizens are strangers to each other, when there is no team spirit and no solidarity.

Wonder what all this has to do with YOU and CRYPTOCURRENCY? In my mind the analogy is crystal clear.

Reducing contact with other people is one of the key strategies of the New World. We are being denied the right to gather in a large group, sharing ideas with people who think like us. People who appreciate freedom, and autonomy, and privacy.

Sure, for some of you screen-to-screen communication is the only way to live, but in reality, a keyboard that unites individuals across the social space cannot and will not ever really be substituted for face-to-face contact.

I heard this sad story the other day of a guy who died and at his funeral his friends were shocked: The last time they texted their friend, everything was OK, apparently. Another spoke about an email he sent him not more than a week before about a trip he was planning to take this summer. In these discussions, no one admitted they saw their friend, nor picked up the phone to speak to him directly.

As much as I love technology, and believe in its power to change the world for good, it will never replace the human connection that we all need and trust.

Strong connections begin through finding a bond, a link – in the case of The Crypto Vigilante, a common passion for improving human lives, and humanity, through the benefits created by cryptocurrencies and the amazing technology behind it.
